Description: Honeycombed high gloss wooden Backgammon Set. Handmade wooden checkers are made of Boxwood (Buxus Sempervirens). Slow growth of Boxwood renders the wood very hard, heavy, and with fine grain produced by growth rings, making it ideal for checkers. Boxwood does not contain bacteria. In the production of our Honeycombed wooden backgammon sets, we use premium quality 12mm walnut veneer on the sides and 4mm first quality MDF. The design transferred to the backgammon board is applied with 3 layers of varnish in order to protect the surface and provide durability. Later 3 layers of glossy polyurethane varnish are applied again to finish the Honeycombed wooden backgammon surface. The outer and inner sides of the Honeycombed Wooden Backgammons are painted in suitable colors and with varnish to finish the surface. For the open-close mechanism of the board, we use high graded magnets. Accessories; 15 dark, 15 light color WOODEN HANDMADE checkers, a pair of 12 mm dices.
