Should you not be familiar with Kermit Oliver he is an American painter living in Waco, Texas and many of his iconic scarves feature Native American people and their traditions and the flora and fauna of the American West. If you are not familiar with him, Google him…his life is fascinating. As far as I know, he is still the only American designer Hermes has used. This scarf depicts the rain dance as performed by the Hopi Indians. This is a grail scarf for collectors, but also very wearable. It is soft and has no issues…plump hems, no snags or discoloration, and from a smoke-free home.
