DESCRIPTION: Available for your consideration is a chic and authentic Aux Portes du Palais (“At the Palace Gates”) vintage silk scarf. Originally designed in 2008 by Christine Henry, the motif depicts the fruit of the designer’s deep understanding of Indian culture, art and mythology. The silk twill scarf, with hand rolled edges, measures approximately 36” x 36”. It is in marvelous, previously worn, vintage condition. I see two marks (see photograph). Please assume there may be some additional faint ones, however, since the scarf is vintage and previously owned. Faint runs are beginning along the edges where the hem was hand-stitched. There is some writing on one of the box edges.
