Description: What a fun dress for the hostess of a 1960s themed party ... This was made by Alfred Shaheen "The Master Printer" of a sheer fabric (that's lined) in a groovy sort of lime green shade with orange-red Chrysanthemum flowers and darker green foliage. The material is a sort of synthetic organza type and is slightly sparkly. Really cool. Features mandarin collar, side slits and looks to be somewhat inspired by a traditional Cheongsam cut. It's labeled a size 14 but fits like a small in modern terms. Actual garment measurements are as follows: Bust measures 20 inches across, flat, and waist measures 18 inches from side to side. Hips measure 19 inches across, flat. Shoulders measure 15 inches across from seam to seam. Length is 53 inches from shoulder to hemline. All measurements are approximate and should be doubled, except for the length. However! Please do not purchase a garment the exact size of your body. That doesn't work. You have to leave room for comfort. We do NOT accept returns for non fit. We retain size specific measurement photos for every garment we sell. I do not find any condition-related issues on this piece. It looks absolutely fantastic and will arrive clean, pressed and ready to wear minus perhaps a few wrinkles incurred in packaging and shipment.
