Please forgive my photos as they are a bit out of focus, while the real ones are much sharper. This is a WONDERFUL example and comprehensive, large, early military photo album, loaded with a variety of photos. 111 photos cover a variety of military training camp activities, including soldier pictures, etc. Most in uniform, many doing drills, etc. GREAT SHOTS FROM THE RIFLE RANGE INCLUDING WITH A COLT M1911 AUTOMATIC, MACHINE GUN, REGULAR RIFLES, AND SOLDIERLY GOOFING AROUND, ETC. Also some photos of girls on the beach wearing period bathing suits, and an early racing car in a race. This appears to be WWI. Equipment is pre-1945, so could also be a regular army group between the wars. This is a nice album, containing 8 large black paper pages (11" x 14"), with photos on both sides, therefore 16 pages of photos, for a total of 111 photos. Both hard covers are still with it, all attached with a shoelace to enable more pages and expansion in the future. A great deal of attention paid to putting this together, and it obviously meant a great deal to the owner and reflected so much from an important part of his life. A variety of photo sizes, mostly 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" and `3 1/4" x 4 1/2". This came with the Bangor, Maine album I have on ebay, so this was possibly from the same family. You will like this album.
