(extended handling times, see below) Create the ultimate heroes headquarters with this diorama to display and play with your Star Wars action figures in this giant Yavin IV Hangar Backdrop Playset by Cardboard Galaxy! This playset features tons of the details as seen in the original "Star Wars" and is designed to interact with your original 3.75" scaled Kenner figures or the more modern "The Vintage Collection" figures from Hasbro. (Sorry, the action figures, vehicles, and accessories shown in some of the pictures are for demonstration only and are not included with the purchase.) The assembled playset is 28" wide, 24" deep, and 1" tall. The kit includes 5 separate wall pieces of various widths and details, 4 floor panels that combine to form the hangar floor including a landing circle, an inset mini-diorama to place behind the open doorway in the walls, 4 triangular column inserts that connect to the walls, and 2 power tower accessories to help populate your hangar. When assembled as shown, there is adequate space to park any of the 3 3/4" scale X-Wing or Y-Wing toys in the hangar...or multiple smaller fighters, Mini Rigs...whatever you want! The space is huge! This playset ships flat and some assembly is required. The backdrop is designed to fit on the base in a specific pattern, but every piece is fully independent and can be reconfigured to really any size, space, or layout combination you wish. The walls can be held together using tabs on the sides, I use paperclips to accomplish this, but you are free to attach them any way you see fit. Assembly instructions are included. This set will be printed and assembled only after purchase, and due to the complexity of construction and my need to schedule out the build time for this piece, I do ask for 2-3 weeks before it will be shipped.
