Description: German WWII Heer splinter A pattern heavily padded winter parka featuring reverse to white inside. Sewn up using period correct pebbled field grey & white metal buttons in all the correct locations. Two bone buttons inside & outside on each upper sleeve for attaching those colored identification bands. Manufactured by Mil-Tec in Germany (see pic of hidden tag inside the pocket) so you can be assured as much as is humanly possible, it’s an exact copy of their father’s garments from WWII using the original Wehrmacht cutting/sewing patterns. This is a very heavy garment due to its cotton shell, lining & thick cotton winter padding. The parka itself weighs in at 4.2 pounds. You won’t get cold under this blanket coat. Cut “over large” for its size to comfortably be worn over the common Kraut field uniform. The hood is roomy enough to fit over your helmet & be able to turn your head without the hood falling off your helmet. New, never worn, excellent condition from a non-smoking home. All buttons, ties & drawstring present & intact. I can easily guarantee you will not be dissatisfied with this never worn, closet stored on a heavy duty hanger inside a plastic bag, WWII German repo parka ! The Mil-Tec tag shows the size (grosse) as the letter “I” (see pic) Mil-Tec web site says it’s a medium. See sleeve length pic. If you have questions, ask ‘em. I usually reply in 24 hrs. or less. Do a lil research, search German WWII parka on the site. No one has this listed with a lower initial bid or a lower Buy it Now as mine. Save yourself some $ via searches. Shipped in a plastic bag inside a sturdy cardboard carton. It ain’t light. Please review the pics, they are part of this description. Thanks for looking ! !
