Description: One of a Kind Native American Papoose Wood Wall hanging Art Papoose Doll Vintage Amazing piece of art. Very Large 23" tall x 10" wide. Heavy since it is solid real wood. Real Rabbit Fur. Amazing beading and details. Wood Carvings all around the front of the wood. The craftmanship is quite all around amazing! This sold years ago at a shop in the Poconos that allowed consigned items (artwork, and collectibles to be put in their shop) at one time is worth much more now since this is now vintage. It has hung on my parents wall in their family room for many years. You cannot find anything even close to it anywhere on the internet. It has the claw hanger on back so you can hang it on your wall. The photos do not do this justice. I just don't have the space to keep it since we moved. Handmade by "Wild Flower'' and "Iron Horse" - they also signed it as shown in photos and included a photo of themselves. The wood carvings are very typical for items I have seen on a reservation I visited many times. My uncle often would take me there as a child and growing up. Tribal Affiliation would be Mohawk and Comanchee according to the paper on the back where they signed it.
