Francis James studied water-colors and oils in Europe. Then for further study with Christian Von Schneidau, the Otis Art Institute and Nicolai Fechine. Her paintings are known throughout the Southwest. They are in private collections, schools and churches. Whether it be portrait, landscape or seascape, the mastery oft the subject by this artist comes through so strong to the viewer that there is immediate recognition that this is a "James".
