Description: First Annual Report of the Forest Commission of the State of New York For the Year 1885The Forest Commission put out reports between the years of 1885 and 1892. Later years saw the commission combined with others and renamed to include fisheries and game. Book is in good to very good condition. Cover is worn but intact. Binding is firm and pages are age toned with some wear. The map is titled "Map of the Adirondack Plateau Showing the Position & Condition of Existing Forests" and it is one of the nicest maps to be included in state issued reports such as this. It is in very good condition. Clean and bright and seems to have hardly been removed from the pocket. It measures approximately 28.5 by 32 inches.Please see images.
