The largest number are from San Francisco, but they are from other cities in the United states as well. These menus all came from the estate of a restauranteur who owned a famous, long closed, high-end restaurant in San Francisco. It seems that a menu was offered to him as complimentary gift after he dined at a restaurant. He tended to write a note on the menu, which included the date and sometimes what was eaten and imbibed. ------------------------------------------------------------------ $6.75 for ground advantage postage and handling.
