Description: December 7th, 1941, a day that will live in infamy. Featured on this DVD are five rare WWII films created in the aftermath of the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. Foremost is "December 7th", a film directed by Hollywood legend John Ford that won a special Academy award. This controversial movie uses original footage of the attack and recreations, to present a chilling portrait of the day's disastrous events and the complacency that allowed it to occur. Also featured are several short newsreels about Pearl Harbor and the bombing of the Philippines. Finally the DVD includes "The Japanese Army and Navy", a training film made to educate American officers and men about their new enemy: Japan.
