A superb Fairyland Celestial Dragon lustre footed octagonal bowl by Daisy Makeig -Jones. Lustre exterior in pale blue glaze flowing into emerald green creates an incredible color scheme, decorated with hand-painted gilt dragons and dragonfly. Interior part decorated with a trio of hand painted underglaze and gilded dragons, a ground of cream pearl lustre. The inner and outer rim is decorated with bold gilded filigree named meander loop. In the center painted a delicate fantasy pattern with oriental motifs. The mark on the base has been worn down over time. This beautiful Wedgwood bowl features a stunning dragon design from the Fairyland lustre collection. Crafted with the finest materials, this piece is sure to elevate any home decor.
