Only used for one trip to Andes, another to Alps then parked when broken spine & brain tumor parked me. Now going through third cancer issue & more back surgeries so lots of gear is going. Last set of Backcountry skis I sold did well & figure these need a good home as well. Have lots of vintage Chouinard items will be sorting including 1st & 2nd generation clothing items in "like new" condition. The Petzl Sk'alp bindings on these are stunning & no promises but think I can find the climbing towers, spare parts kit, etc. Was going to do a climbing museum but now hoping to thin all this out so if God takes me home don't leave it for wife. Lost 7 of 10 mountaineering partners now & climbing partners are dropping like flies. Own a piece of Chouinard skiing history that still quite capable to do job they were built for. They are dirty & don't ask why $100 shipping. Last two ice axes sold cost $45 each to ship & my luck $100 won't even cover time to box & cost ship. They are nice skis. If not all busted up would be waxing them for annual Andes trip. Now sold these three times & had multiple buyers ask for discounted shipping but would would not give me their zip code. Over 6' long & 1 sell to buyer in Idaho USPS wanted $135 shipping. Anywhere west of Rockies or NH, VT, etc before buy contact with zip & will see what shipping is. If have ski area near you have a service that ships skis to resort areas fair price. Nice skis, someone needs to be riding them, if spine not trashed would be in Cordillera Blanca riding them if acclimatization peaks now.
