Description: Selling a pair of extremely rare, hard to find 70’s era legacy, the Cerwin Vega d9 three-way speakers (photos 1-to-3) Original owner. The woofer foam-surrounds were replaced with shade-of-gray some years and had been put out of commission ever since. The cabinets are in excellent condition as well as grill covers. If I remember correctly, one of the tweeters may require a new diaphragm which can be easily sourced-out and replaced. But will test and verify once sold. This model is very sought-after and the desirability factor amongst the niché CV enthusiasts will be irresistible as the supply continue to deplete in the pre-loved market. The foam surrounds have been replaced and the black cloth sock grill are also new. Although a bit tight but they still look nice. Driven by a Marantz vintage receiver in my music room and these speakers sound amazing! They look great too! The AR-93a are no longer in production and almost impossible to hunt down.
