Description: For your consideration is a Carl Eickhorn Model 1899 Imperial Prussian Officer’s Sword. The sword is just over 38” long. The blade is 32.5” long. The ricasso is marked with the early back-to-back squirrel trademark with the letters CE. The sword has a folding guard with the Prussian eagle. The sword does not have a scabbard. The condition of the sword is good. It is solid. The pommel, guard and blade show wear, scratches and tarnished areas. Some wiring on the grip is lose. Part of the leather between the ferrule and cross guard is missing (see last photo).
