The Spring 1993 - Spring 1994 runway collections were a series of themes around monastical grunge. The Spring 1993 collection was all about light, airy garments, and the predominant fabrics used were sheer silks and cool linens. This linen is utterly gorgeous. The fabric has terrific breathe. It can be worn by itself as a tunic shirt, or it can be styled over a dress as a light shirt jacket. Looks great belted, too. The tunic runs long and has a moderately high slit on each side, which makes it perfect for tucking in the front. Button closure down approximately ¾ of the front and a concealed placket, except for the top button. Shoulder to shoulder ~17.5 inches across (slight drop). Armpit to armpit ~19 inches across. Sleeves ~21.5 inches. Length ~28.25 inches (front, center). Armpit to bottom hem ~22 inches. Very good condition for the age. Light wear (snags / pulls) to the fabric consistent with the age of the garment. Two marks on the right arm (pictured). Comes freshly laundered.
