Description: The story: I was handed the keys to an old business, where I found a collection of postcards in the belly of the building, preserved in a sealed package that are over 100 years old. Some of them are in better shape than others, but they were all found together and maintained in their respective, shown condition. This particular postcard from the Flag Series #252, circa 1907-1914, features a patriotic image of Old Glory and some U.S Warships. The postcard is an original, unposted piece manufactured in the United States during the era of divided backs (1907-1915). This printed (lithograph) item is a single unit and has an embossed patriotic theme. The postcard, although showing true signs of it's 100+ years, is a great addition to any collection and a wonderful artifact of American history. It is perfect for those interested in patriotic themes, or postcard collectors. The postcard will be shipped with care and is a valuable find for anyone interested in this time period. Note: The upper right corner is "dinged", but the rest of the corners are decent, so priced with that in mind. I truly feel that someone out there will appreciate this postcard, so making it available for purchase. Thank you!! Big Poppa
