Distinctive, sophisticated and very eye-catching with superbly elegant style. The elongated octagonal shaped case is richly embellished throughout with wonderful engraving in the ‘Art Deco’ to the top, sides and back off the case. There are the initials ‘I.S.W.’ on the back. Original & signed ‘Bulova’ on the inside of case back. The 10kt white gold filled bezel and case back have been cleaned & repolished and fitted with a new acrylic crystal. In general the case looks great with minimal wear/scratches commensurate with the age of the watch. Crown: Original, sapphire tipped, with slight wear. Dial: Immaculate and highly noticeable, complementing the distinctiveness of the case, the dial has been professionally refinished in a silver tone. The inner area has an intricate stripped effect with chasing to the border which contrasting wonderfully with the plain outer area. The ‘Bulova’ name, numerals and minute chapter are in black. Hands: Hour and minute hands are original to the watch, blue/black steel, ‘Modern’ style. Movement: BULOVA high quality Swiss manual wind movement. This is a fine classic 6AF calibre with 7 jewels marked with an omega symbol for 1930. The movement has been cleaned, oiled & adjusted, and is running well, keeping good time ready to wear. As with all vintage watches regular servicing is recommended. Size: Octagonal shaped, measures approx. 26.66mm excluding the lugs X 17.05mm at the widest point excluding the crown. Band: The watch is fitted with a new ‘Gemex’ black cord band with silver tone clasps.
