Description: "Brave Men" was written by Ernie Pyle. It was published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1945, 9th printing. It is a hardcover book that measures 5.5x8.5". 328 pages that show tanning due to age. There is tanning inside the front and back covers, age spots on the edges of the pages, and inside as well. The previous owner's bookplate is inside with writing on it. The [blank] pages following it have an article about the author and a cartoon. Both were cut out of a newspaper so they show newspaper burn to those pages and the ones behind it. There are age and dirty spots inside. A few corners are folded. Page 57/58 has a tear (pictured) but is still intact. You can see the burlap binding inside the back cover (pictured). The cover shows edge and corner wear and is dirty. There is wear at the top and bottom of the spine. This was someone's well-loved copy to be sure.
