Description: 'Boojum' Jud Wilson 1974 Laughlin Old Time Black Stars #12 PSA 7 NM Boojum Wilson, as a defensive third sacker, was not in the class of Oliver Marcelle, Judy Johnson, Ray Dandridge, or Dave Malarcher, but as a hitter he could hit everything in sight. The lefthanded slugger was especially dangerous in the clutch. Wilson began in 1924 with the Baltimore Black Sox and played for 22 years, including periods with the Philadelphia Stars and the Pittsburgh Crawfords. Jud wound up pinch-hitting .288 for the Homestead Grays in 1945.
