Description: Working alongside cast and crew, premier showbiz photographer Greg Williams creates a unique visual record of the making of the movie with candid shots of the stars, and sequences featuring many of the movie's breathtaking set pieces. The book doesn't set out to be a narrative of the making of the film - the back cover says that Greg Williams (photographer guru) captures all the behind-the-scenes glamour, emotion and excitement as the film was being made. Anyone interested in deep analysis and text will be very disappointed. The photographs are wonderfully reproduced on high quality paper, which really brings them to life. There is a very good mix of B&W and colour images. The sparse text that has been written complements the photos very well. The best part about the book is that the images are divided into chapters that run in the same sequence as the film - it's like you're following the making of QoS in pictures. But it's not just shots of the film, it's the stunts, the locations and capturing many of the people that worked to put the film together. Obviously the cast feature heavily in the photos, but it's nice to see shots of the people behind the film (who don't always get the credit they deserve). 159 pages. Hard cover with dust jacket.
