Description: B.L. Marble Chair Company Office Maple Chair - WWII era 1943 rare 35" H x 18" W x 19" deep This chair is survivor from 1943 when chairs were made of mostly wood as companies were limiting the use of metal during the war. (Note the wooden spindle and swivel which are usually metal). The swivel mechanism is in perfect condition - the wheels need replacing. Wood is maple with medium brown finish. Underneath the seat there is the Marble Company seal, a paper label with series number 4306 and the etched date 6 / 43
