Description: Beautiful Antique Hand Painted Porcelain Oval Elegant CAMEO Portrait Pin Brooch Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE PORCELAIN PIN Beautiful antique hand painted porcelain oval shape portrait pin brooch measuring 1-3/4" tall and 1-1/3" wide. Featuring an elegant woman with a blue ribbon threaded through her upswept hair, she wears a square neckline gown and has an early Victorian feel. I believe this was both lithograph printed and then overpainted as I can see brush strokes and raised paint with my loop. Edge is accented with a thin band of gold and porcelain is bracket mounted to a brass back, complete with bar and coiled c-clasp loop closure. Condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, discoloration or repairs - securely fitted onto the backing - bar seats neatly into the loop so there is no chance of loss - minor wear to the gold edging the porcelain does not detract.
