Description: Austin prod inc. started in the 1950’s and ended production in 2009,the Hand sculpture is made from a product called Durastone a formulation of crushed stone turned into a slurry and poured into the mold which also contains a steel framework for strength,the hands sit atop of a solid wood base(looks like walnut),this sculpture is painted to appear as a bronze that has a natural patina.the sculpted hands are life size and very detailed.there are 3 or 4 places were the paint has small specs of paint loss which are contained to the sleeve area.not sure of exact production date.the 2020 record price for Austin Productions was for HANDS sculpture per mutual art.If you like the pictures you’ll love it when you hold it.weighs 4lbs 13oz.
