AMIRA (Amira Munteanu Bergmann) is an Italian multimedia artist born in Transylvania from a family of Austro-Hungarian Jewish intellectuals and art collectors. She has been painting since she was 4. She was the first artist, after the fall of the communist regime, to have a solo exhibition in the Palace of Ceausescu in Bucharest (currently the seat of the Parliament of Romania) at the age of only 22 years.
