Same is true of both treblings Made in USA approx. Early 1930’s In Overall still nice condition The grooved grip is outstanding and well preserved, but shows a slight crack (see pic) The buttstrap is well preserved and the butt decal has about 85% left (see pic) The W&D player decals show slight blemishes (see pic) Some scuffing and scratches See all pictures Great for any collection Shipped gently with USPS or UPS In the 1870s George Wright and Henry A. Dustin each had their own company until around 1878, when together they formed Wright & Ditson. They sold domestic and imported sporting goods and related items such as clothing and shoes. Wright clai to be the first importer of tennis equipment. Although Wright & Ditson was purchased by Spalding in 1891, rackets, equipment, lawn tennis guides, and catalogs continued under the Wright & Ditson name through the 1930’s.
