This is an original antique glass apothecary candy jar with original lid. Jar has a faint Vaseline tint, but it appears much darker in the photos than in real life. Lid and jar neck are expertly ground, for a perfect fit. This paneled jar measures 5 5/8" in diameter, and stands 11 7/8" tall to top of lid. This jar is extremely heavy, weighing 5 pounds, before packing. very very minor roughness to bottoms of lids, as expected. No other Jar displays beautifully, and is in excellent NEAR MINT condition, with absolutely no chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, bruises, stains, or repairs. Lid does have some edge roughness, as shown in close-up photo. Glass is crystal clear, with no cloudiness or haze. There are no scratches or scuffs to the glass, just my poor photography skills.
