They are beautiful, vintage, lighting fixtures from a historic building in the Pacific North West that started as a horse stable(see historical photo), and was converted To a theater room (see picture at time of removal) Im an electrician, and removed these with care, in working order, with existing incandescent bulb inside Large white glass globe, circa 1950s - Believe to be all original (except for repainted metal components) - Excellent condition with appropriate flaws considering age (small surface scratches and imperfections, painted, etc) - 36" long, 16" diameter globe, 5.25" ceiling canopy, 5” hanger bracket/ball - Fixture has a metal rod that does not appear to be able to be shortened - No switch on fixture - Date appropriate original cloth covered 2 conductor wiring that does not include a separate ground wire, but could be bonded to the metal hanger/canopy - Prescolite Manufacturing Corp signature cast into canopy cover and bracket hanger- Neshaminy, Penna, Berkeley, Calif. PAT PEND (see picture) - This light is ready to install, and will attach to an electrical box with the mounting bracket and canopy cover - Includes incandescent light bulb that was installed and functioning at time of removal. Would also accommodate some low-watt energy efficient bulbs with an edison base if desired - recommend that all lighting be installed by a licensed electrician
