Description: Up for sale is a rare antique Pre-Columbian Narino culture pedestal bowl made in Ecuador circa 800 - 1200 AD..It's sculpted out of terra-cotta and has a nice silhouette with a circular footed base.The bowl is polychrome painted by hand with a lovely natural red toned pigment and has acquired a wonderful patina from age.It is in good condition and measures 4 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches tall.The bowl has a small rim chip as seen in last photo.
