Description: This is an original antique (late 19th century) oval milk glass lamp base globe with colorful paint on the outside surface including scattered flower patterns all the way around. Condition is excellent. There are some small flakes in the glass around the top and bottom opening (typical, considering age and use) but no major damage anywhere. The globe measures 9" in diameter and the bottom lip measures 4 1/2" in diameter (from outside edge to outside edge of the glass lip), and the opening in the bottom measures 4 1/4" in diameter. The top lip measures 5 3/4" in diameter (from outside edge to outside edge of the glass lip) and the top opening measures 5 1/2" in diameter.
