Description: Here is a wonderful, original, Joseph Hoover chromolithograph of Ausable Chasm in New York. Circa 1880-1900 and in original frame, backed by thin wood boards which are held in place by small hand-cut square nails. The lithograph is about 10.75" x 14.25" and the original frame is about 15.5" x 19.5". The lithograph is edged with gold flake on all four borders. In very good condition with no moisture damage and with excellent color. Great view of the chasm before it became heavily commercialized. Very nice item for a collector of antique prints.
