Description: Antique J&P Coats spool cabinet Click images to enlarge Description Fabulous antique J&P Coats counter top retail spool cabinet, circa 1890. I believe that this model is the largest of the counter top cabinets distributed by this company. The case stands 22" tall, 26" wide, and 19" deep and is made of cherry wood. The case has six drawers that are all complete and have lightly warped drawer bottoms. The drawers retain all of the original pulls and retain excellent condition original descriptive panels that identify the contents of the drawer and advertising panels noting the maker and the quality of the product. The cabinet is in excellent condition though it is missing two narrow strips of wood that create a "picture frame" around the embossed lithograph picture of a spool of thread found on the back. The cabinet retains the original finish and no attempt has been made to enhance or replace the finish. The cabinet is too large for me to ship but I would deliver it to the packing and shipping business of your choice in the Portland, Oregon metro area.
