Antique English Oak, Bovine Horn & Silver Plate Dinner Gong. Victorian Taxidermy

Description: This handsome antique table top gong which has 2 cattle horns mounted on a decorative English oak base has brass & silver plated mounts and dates from the late 19th century. The metal gong which has a crazed effect to the front is suspended between the two horns and the wood striker has a silver plated finial. This decorative antique gong is a very nice usable piece that looks wonderful in the home and ideal for use in a hotel, bar or restaurant. Era: Victorian. Dimensions: Length: 31 cm (12 1/4"). Width: 17 cm (6 1/2"). Height: 31.5 cm (12 1/2"). Weight: 2016 g. Condition: Excellent antique condition with light signs of wear in keeping with age. Some general wear to silver plate.
