Description: Beautifully preserved quack medical device. Used to practice Electropathic Medicine in the early 1900s. Two compartments: the top one for the accessories and the bottom contains the battery holder and electrical controls. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax. Metal hardware was cleaned and polished. Box is constructed of 3/8" thick quartersawn oak and sides were assembled using a splined miter joint for strength and appearance. Box measures 8 3/4" long x 5 1/4 deep x 4 1/2" tall. New dark green felt covers the bottom. Grounding plate accessory is included (see pictures). Doesn't work, but should make a great conversation piece. Shipping weight 4 pounds. No reserve!
