Antique Brass E.N. Welch Mantel Clock Movement & Parts Lot Italian Model 1870

Description: Item up for sale is a wonderful antique parts lot that were originally in a E.N. Welch Italian model mantel clock. Movement shows an uncoiling of the main spring on the left side so this will need to be repaired to function as intended. When movement was moved around some of the gears and the flywheel exhibited movement. Winding pegs on both sides turned when tested with our master key (key is NOT included and new owner will need to provide their own). Brass bears the E.N. Welch mark with a patent date of 1870. Brass shows tarnish, patina and lubricant residue and could use a cleaning. Not counting any protruding gears or parts this movement body measures 5-1/8" top to bottom by 3-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" in depth. With the movement was found and will be included: - Two original clock hands with mounting hardware. Hands show finish wear and patina. - Chime spring coil and base with mounting hardware. All metal shows tarnish and patina. - Brass fronted pendulum. Brass and non brass metal back shows tarnish and patina. - Metal pendulum bar with some bending to the metal that connects to the movement. Metal shows age appropriate tarnish and patina. - Mounting screws for movement. Metal shows tarnish and patina. Fantastic lot that comes fresh to the market.
