Description: The sextant is in great working order. I've used it several times to take accurate sun sightings while at sea. This is an authentic British Royal Navy brass sextant made by Henry Hughes & Sons LTD from mid to late 1930's. Was in use by the British Navy during WWII. Also has a brass plate inside the box confirming it was made for the British Royal Navy. You can also see the King's crown located on the top of the box .
