Antique 1870s Figural Lady Bust Spelter and Cast Iron Oil Lamp

Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique lighting. This is a Figural Lady Bust clear Oil or Kerosene lamp with chimney. This lamp dates Circa 1870. The piece was later painted all over gold. Would have originally had a black painted cast iron base that is now painted gold. Gold paint was done long ago and has wear. Ornate EAPG clear font. Old antique brass Socony flip top burner. Burner with some dings and small dents but is in good working condition. The price is for the oil lamp and chimney only as pictured . Antique over 100 years old. Good to Fair condition for age. Works. No chips or cracks. Glass font appears at a slight angle. Was all over painted gold long ago and now gold paint has wear. Underside bottom has corrosion. Upon close inspection you may find bubbles, straw marks or imperfections in the glass typical of the period. Selling as pictured. Nice Victorian figural oil lamp. Measures just over 13" to top of burner or measures about 21 1/4" to top of chimney when in place. Pictures considered part of the description. Shipping includes insurance and tracking..
