Description: Antique 1836 WH Bartlett The Vally Of Lauterbrunn Framed First Print Etching Very nice solid antique shape. Appears to have been professionally framed in a very nice 19.5x17" frame. Frame shows normal wear. It has some scuffing as shown. The paper on the back of the frame has a couple tears as shown. COA is from Global fine art and is signed. It has the artist information. COA states the title as "The Vally of Lauterbrunn", though I have seen other copies of this print called "The Aar Falls at Handek". (I assume the name was changed later, possibly?) It has the medium. Edition is listed as "First state, first printing.. London 1836. Scarce". Size is 114mmx177mm. Registration on COA matches sticker on frame. I obviously have not taken the print out of the frame, but from the looks of it it's in very nice antique shape. It displays very well.
