Description: AMAZING Antique Victorian Scottish Agate Brooch w. Interlocking Ring Design This stunning brooch features such an amazing super dark banded agate with an extraordinary amount of 'bands'. The agate appears almost black, but when held to the light, you can see the brown coming through. Condition: See pictures. Very nice antique condition. It is literally perfect bar a tiny nibble on one side of the outer ring (the darker side with less white stripes), as well as a tiiiny nibble to one corner of the cross-bar that goes through the two rings. Due to the fabulous pattern of the agate, the chips really are not that noticeable at all, but do of course need to be mentioned. The pin-bar is a little loose, but I suspect it was probably like that from the beginning, as it is connected to the wire holding the design together. Markings:Unbranded Measurements: Width: 4,2 cm / 1.7 in Height: 3,3 cm / 1.3 in Weight:15 g / 0.53 oz I measure in centimeters and grams and then convert these to US measurements.
