These issues feature two fairly important events in Spidey history: (1) Puma reveals that the Alien Costume (which later becomes Venom) from Secret Wars is organic! and (2) Mary Jane reveals that she has known for some time that Peter is Spider-Man! As if that wasn't enough, Spidey fights against/with Jack O' Lantern! Black Cat! What more could ya want?!? How about The Kingpin?!? The Arranger?!? Hobgoblin?!? Betty Brant (Leeds)?!? Aunt May?!? Nathan Lubensky?!? Mary Jane Watson?!? Robbie Robertson?!? Sandman?!? The images you see are scans of the issues you'll receive. I am not an expert grader, and these comic books are not mint. They're in decent enough shape, and would be a fine addition to any collector's long boxes. They have some imperfections (some minor ticks/folds/dings/creases/bumps/rips/bruises/smudges that you'd expect to see on comics that are nearly 40 years old), as can be seen in the scans (issue 257 has some more noticeable folds and wear on the cover), but they make up for these blemishes by being super cool comics! Issue 255 is also included in this auction, but this is really a throw in, as it's in pretty bad shape (see the scans). I thought the winning bidder might appreciate being able to read a fuller story by having 4 consecutive issues. I am planning to list more comics in the days to come, and will happily combine shipping if you are kind enough to buy multiple auctions. It would be $1 extra for a single issue auction, and $2 extra for any multiple issue auctions won - in addition to the main auction win.
