Description: Wonderful lot featuring 2 beautiful autographs of the stars of the classic 1921 movie "The Kid" - Charlie Chaplin and Jackie Coogan. The Coogan autograph is signed on an iconic photograph of him in his role in "The Kid". The autograph is one of the earliest you will find from Coogan - based on the style of his writing and autograph, it likely was signed some time in the early 1920's, within a few years of the film's release and Coogan's rise to fame. "The Kid", Chaplin's first feature length movien, is still regarded as one of the best movies of all time, and one of Chaplin's finest. Coogan's performance when he was only 6 launched him to stardom as the first famous child actor. The Chaplin autograph is a cut autograph framed beautifully and dated 1934. Both autographs authenticated by PSA DNA. The Coogan photo has a fold in it but it is hard to see unless it is under very bright lighting (see closeup pictures). The Coogan measures about 15x12 inches including the frame, and the Chaplin frame measures about 21x18 inches.
