Allison & RDL Speakers 8" replacement woofer *NEW* (several avail) acoustics

Description: PLEASE FULLY READ BEFORE PURCHASE. This is a NEW factory replacement. It has been the only replacement offered by the factory for 25 years. There are no other versions produced. This driver also fits the Roy Allison series of RDL units. Should you have any questions, ask before buying. There are no returns, no exceptions. By purchasing you agree to the terms of sale. The driver was improved by the new owners of Allison, the Allison/Stanford Acoustics group. We have no Allison tweeters remaining. The former woofer foam surround was replaced by neoprene (no more foam dry rot!). The cones WERE offered with a 'wet' look and a 'flat black' look. The wet style are gone, only basic flat black is available. There is an attached gasket to the rear for snug mounting. Do not remove it. The voice coil former is improved as is the magnet. Over all, this driver is far superior to the old unit from the 1970's. The second picture is the revised model 4 by the Stanford group. It reflects their newly upgraded woofer. All oak cabinets present no mounting issues. Very early walnut boxes were cut tight. Mostly for the model 4. Contact us if this is a concern. Cutout is 7 & 1/16" basket.
