We did cut the shelves 13” to fit our son’s closet. I love how this is made to be installed in front of baseboards so we didn’t have to cut any out (there’s a picture where the drawer part is slightly off the wall and the upper tower sits back). Way more functional than the wire shelves that were in the closet and significantly cheaper and nicer than what we could have built or payed from a closet company. Also, I did not notice the leather handles when I bought it but I love them! Great touch! We’ll be buying this again in white to redo another closet!
