Description: Thinning out my 30+ year collection of great Baltimore Maryland and Carroll County soda, beer and whiskey bottles. Any references to a # are from the 2019 edition of Baltimore’s Pre-Prohibition Breweries & Bottles (also available on ebay).https://www.ebay.com/itm/204786885849 Please look at the pictures carefully. I can provide additional pictures upon request. Offered for sale is #55 a hand blown Baltimore Branch bottle from the King of Beers in St. Louis Missouri. Anheuser Busch never had a brewery in Baltimore. The brewery in St. Louis would send kegs to Baltimore's Camden Yards and then a short beer wagon ride to Von Mitzel's, a local bottling house where the beer would have been siphoned from the keg and bottled.#55, This hand blown amber bottle with a tooled crown is listed as Very Rare. This is a wet privy dug bottle as has internal and external staining. The embossing is strong with little case wear. The bottle does retain some paint that was used to highlight the embossing. A proper bath and some goof off would produce a much better display. This bottle was blown at the Dominick O. Cunningham Glass Works in Pittsburgh, PA between 1893-1897.Private bottle mold embossed as:ANHEUSER-BUSCH TRADE (eagle motif) MARKREGISTEREDBALTIMORE BRANCH
