It is self-collected and weighs 4.74 lbs (2.15 kg). As far as smoky quartz goes, it's a lovely display specimen in terms of esthetic appeal, as well as a healing crystal that's wonderfully suited for energy, manifestation, and chakra work. As you can see from the images and video, the tip is nicely terminated, too. It has not been processed in any way, except to wash off the dirt after we found it. You can have it industrially cleaned if you want (not everyone likes to have their rocks industrially cleaned). Long story short, this beauty is perfect for collectors and the spiritually-inclined. It is also ideal for cutting slabs and making cabs and will turn out exceptional spheres, cabochons, and other crystal-based artwork.
