Description: 4" Wilton vise, this is a rare WE #840! This vise was manufactured in 1946, just one year after WW11 officially ended. The dynamic jaw moves smoothly and easily, and the spindle handle is very tight considering the age of this vise! This has got the old style low swivel base assembly that swivels 180 degrees. This has been repainted in a coating of Behr Paint's color match to Rust-Oleum's discontinued hammered verde. This vise is in overall exceptional condition, there are no cracks or repairs.
