Description: Set of 4 rare antique Spode England FELSPAR Porcelain plates. The Spode Felspar mark was used 1822-1833.The plates are white with a yellow rim. The rim is decorated with alternating birds and flowers. The plates are also decorated with ornate gold gilding and an unusual scalloped rim. The plates measure 9" in diameter. They are in good antique condition with no chips or cracks, There is some gold loss and fading due to use & age. I have 8 of these plates, but due to the weight of these plates (each one weighs 1 pound) I am dividing these into two separate listings and they will have two different shipping labels. I will give a discount if you order both sets, but I will not combine shipping because of the weight and danger of breaking with that much weight in one box. They will be very well pocked to protect these plates. I pack fragile items in double or heavy duty boxes and lots of bubble wrap. This sometimes increases shipping fees but I want your item to arrive safely.
