FAQs How are card prices determined? Prices are not calculated but are deliberated. There are a number of factors that are considered when determining what I believe is a fair market price. This includes factors such as (1) player visibility and relevance in the hobby; (2) current and year-over-year player performance (if still active); (3) relative 1- and 3-month sale quantities (not card values) to players with comparable (1) and (2); (4) potential near-term (3-6 months) value growth given (1), (2), (3) and (4); as well as current and recent (2/3 week window) comp data. Why are some cards priced outside of a fair market price? These cards are priced with long-term growth (6 months to 1 year) in mind. The hope here is that the asking price will eventually become the fair market price based on (1), (2) and (3) from "How are card prices determined?". I'm working on creating a digital sticker to tag these cards for transparency. Note that these prices can change (increase/decrease) depending on the factors mentioned and that they'll be available with a "Best Offer" option, some at/near a fair market price. If you submit an offer at/near fair market price and it's not automatically rejected, I'll accept that offer 9 times out of 10. Post office withholding your order? While rare, sometimes packages are held for postal weight or package size issues. While I do ensure that every package uses the correct envelope size and has the proper postage weight paid for upon sending, I can't control what other post office locations deem is an issue. That's why I'm offering full reimbursement for any additional postage costs incurred as long as a receipt is provided. Simply pay the additional postage costs to have it released and obtain a receipt as proof of payment.
