Description: 2002-2003 State Of Kansas Dome Sculpture Installation-Capitol Centennial Medals. Came out of an old building that was being torn down. These two commemorative medals were designed by Salina sculptor Richard Bergen, the man who sculpted Ad Astra, the 20-foot bronze statue that now tops the dome of the Kansas Statehouse. The medals are made of cast bronze and are the size of a silver dollar. I couldn’t find anything else about them. Can’t find any eBay listings or other info. I believe that not many were minted but don’t have any real information. These medals are in uncirculated condition. I have 2 that are still in their original sealed packaging. These will be the ones you receive. I took the other 2 out to take photos to show details and condition. You will receive 1 each of the 2002 and 2003 medals. Ships USPS Ground Advantage. Thanks for looking.
